Leadership Program

Strong and effective leadership is core to successful businesses.  It sets out where you need to go to ‘win’ as a team or organisation, and creates the direction and vision that a business wants to achieve.

An effective leader is someone who creates an inspiring vision of the future; motivates and inspires people; delivers on the key priorities and direction of a business; and coaches and builds a team that is effective at achieving the business priorities.

The Polaris Centre with TAFE SA, has developed a leadership program that provides the necessary skills to build and strengthen leadership capability.  Comprising a series of workshops aimed at new to experienced leaders, the program covers key topics including: Managing Change; Effective Personal Leadership; Leading and Managing for Results; Challenge of Leadership; and Emotional Intelligence for Leaders.

The program has purposefully been designed to allow individuals to undertake the full series of workshops or to select those that best address their need.

While the workshops are not assessed and training is non-accredited, to recognise attendance participants will receive an Acknowledgement of Training which may be used to support a recognition of prior learning application if the participant chooses to undertake further study through TAFE SA.

Individual workshops are offered at a cost of $150.00 per person, which includes all course materials, light morning and afternoon tea and lunch.  If a person or company signs up for three or more workshops or a company has three people attend the same workshop, the cost per person is $100.00.
